Libertarian head of state in Argentina?

(note: As my time to write continues to diminish, I am looking to depreciate the Quick Jots where the month is crammed into one post. I will try to do more frequent, short posts instead, which will help with my archive searches when I'm looking for something)

Self-described anarcho-capitalist Javier Milei sent shockwaves around the world (among libertarians, at least) by winning the primary elections in Argentina. The firebrand economist (of course he's an economist) with crazy hair had been making waves for several years, calling out politicians for being thieves and parasites. He has been laying into the national bank pretty hard, talking about how it creates inflation and how the currency should be scrapped. With Argentina's triple-digit inflation, people are bound to listen. Milei is no wishy-washy libertarian. From what little I've seen from him so far, he appears to be the real deal. He is Argentina's Ron Paul with a bad-boy spunk. His passion is frequently on display, as in this interview when he blasts socialism:

When discussing his plan for the government, he doesn't waffle about, talking about 20% cuts here and there. He says "Afuera!" to more than half of the ministries that govern Argentina.

The morons over at the corporate pressduopoly partisans, and socialists can't seem to make heads or tails out of him, stupidly calling him a far-right candidate, with some hack outlets like the New York Times even calling him a far-right libertarian. There is, of course, no such thing in reality as libertarianism is noncoplanar to their one-dimensional political spectrum. The media and those seeking to craft the narrative do this to try to associate their target with fascists and whom they have branded as white supremacists. It's absurd to have to even state this, but libertarianism is completely incompatible with fascism and is as far apart from fascism as one can possibly get. The ideology is certainly further from fascism than every single person who tries to tie libertarianism to fascism.

It is unclear what he would be able to accomplish if he gets elected to office, or if he'll stick to some of his libertarian promises (how often has that happened?), but it would be fascinating to see. Either way, the libertarian ideas are spreading with him on the soapbox. Just a few days ago, I conversed with someone on Reddit who credits Milei for his conversion to libertarianism. This will be an interesting one to follow.
